After a brief hiatus, Discordia Review Press is back up and running with a new zine: the first volume of Jack Daniel Christie’s Bay of Pigs, titled Contra!

Bay of Pigs is a parapolitical journey through the paranoid psyche, a sojourn into a realm of dread, a confrontation of the dark truths and conspiracies that lie underneath our polite society and the illusion of liberal democracy. Read a sample below!

The files are encrypted, but everyone knows that.

Who else has access to this kind of information?
Is it possible that we’re the only ones?

A memory by rule allows not more than one
name.

There is no memory but a
memory, and there is no name.
Someone named it Himself.

It’s you and me baby: eternally.
The guys down the hall are telling me what they’re going to do.

Isn’t it all so obvious?

A name is only a date
until it is incanted.
Remaining otherwise, empty,
deceased, unmarked,

without a medal to salute
the right thing, to honor
the right dead.
